The Riggs Home
Built in 1928, this traditional English Tudor 3 bedroom/2 bath cottage has been completely transformed inside with a contemporary Asian Fusion design with unique doors throughout the home. Don’t miss the interior art gallery effect and exterior Zen garden.
The Ortiz Home
The most recent remodel transformed the house from a single-story cottage into a two-story luxurious retreat, filled with antiques and artwork. The upstairs master suite features a gym lined with autographed celebrity photographs; a bathroom with custom cabinetry and a Juliet balcony; and a walk-in custom closet that will leave many with shoe envy.
The McCoy/Lessor Home
Built in 1930, the house has been thoroughly renovated, from building a new garage to adding a beautiful stained glass window and completely rebuilding the fireplace. On display throughout the home are a number of mementos of the owners’ previous careers working with the Radio City Rockettes, Frank Sinatra, Ozzy Osbourne and Clint Black. Outside, the recently landscaped yard has its own personality.
The Seideman Home
The lovely Seideman home was built in 1936 and is a classic Hollywood Tudor that has been updated to perfection. Families of the homeowners have helped the young couple fill out their home with beautiful French antiques and artwork by famous grandpa West Texas artist Dick Cheatham.
The Weaver/Mewhirter Home
Originally built in 1930 as a one-story 3/2, this lovely home has undergone several renovations and additions over the years including framing the attic space and capturing 900 square feet for an upstairs master suite and bath. Downstairs was changed to a second master suite and private bath. The most recent remodel of the kitchen reconfigured the space and installed a gorgeous hand-made cherry countertop.

The 2012 Hollywood Home Tour looks to be another amazing year thanks to the generosity of homeowners in Hollywood Santa Monica. Five beautiful homes with features ranging from family heirloom antiques to sleek contemporary interiors to memorabilia from the world of rock ‘n roll await attendees this year.
Homes are selected for their architectural interest as well as beautiful interiors in diverse styles. We are fortunate that so many of our residents have filled their homes with personal items reflective of their interests, taste and family history. On this year’s tour you will encounter magnificent remodels and restorations, unusual furnishings and light fixtures and what may possibly be the most impressive bathroom in Hollywood.
We hope you will join us on April 27 – 29 in celebrating our wonderful neighborhood and helping raise funds to benefit the neighborhood and three local schools – Lindsley Park Community School, JL Long Middle School and Woodrow Wilson High School International Baccalaureate Program.
